
This September, our community took on the Shutdown Challenge: 30 days of small, mindful actions to reclaim rest, focus, and real connection. From better sleep to sharper mornings and more meaningful offline moments, the challenge reminded us how powerful simple shifts can be. Here’s a look back at the journey.
Week 1: Evening calm & better sleep
We kicked off with practical evening resets: putting the phone away at 8 p.m., creating an evening ritual like reading or journaling, and leaving the phone outside the bedroom.

Week 2: Screen-free mornings
No phone for the first 15–30 minutes of the day. Instead: enjoy coffee, go for a short walk, or simply journal in silence.

We experimented with 45-minute focus sprints, turning off notifications, and even trying 90 minutes of deep work.
